Detailed Download Instructions

You can download, install, and start all e-Course® products in essentially the same way. 

Click the download link to transfer the e-Course® file to your computer. After you click the link, the following dialog box will appear. 

  1. Click Run this program from its current location

  2. Click the OK button to start downloading the program.

The software will start to download to your computer as shown below.

When the download is complete, the following dialog box will appear. This dialog box verifies that the e-Course software® was signed by MediaTechnics Corporation and has not been tampered with in any way. 

  1. Click the Yes button to let the software install itself on your computer.

The setup dialog box will appear as shown below.

  1. Click the Next button to proceed with the installation.

  2. Follow the prompts to complete the installation process.

 

Detailed Startup Instructions

To run e-Course, click the button, point to Programs, point to the e-Course® group, then click the e-Course® program that you want to run. The Purchase dialog box will appear as shown below.

  1. To continue using the sample version of the software, click the Continue button

  2. To Purchase full access to the product, click the Purchase button. The purchase process is explained in detail near the bottom of this page.

If you wish, you can create and use a Tracking Disk. The Tracking Disk will track your progress through the e-Course® software, including your scores on the Check Point questions at the end of each topic.

  1. If you don't want to use a Tracking Disk, click Continue without tracking

  2. If you want to create a Tracking Disk, insert a blank, formatted disk, then click Copy tracking data to drive A

The Login screen will then appear.

  1. Click the OK button to enter e-Course®.

  1. To start a Tutorial, click Tutorials, then click a tutorial or topic.

  2. To learn how to use e-Course®, click Show me how to use e-Course® from the right side of the screen. 

 

Detailed Purchase Instructions

If you finish the first tutorial and would like to use the rest of the tutorials, just click the Purchase button the next time you start the software.  Your purchase "unlocks" the software so you can access the entire product. You do not have to download the software again, so purchasing is fast and easy.

After starting the e-Course® program, click the Purchase button.

Your computer should connect to the Internet and display a Purchase Form similar to the one shown below.

Complete the information on the form, then click the Order button.

Verify the information on the Bank of America credit card transaction form, then scroll to the bottom of the form and click the Check Out button to process the credit card transaction. 

Don't be alarmed if the following dialog box appears. It simply means that the secure credit card transaction has been completed and that you are leaving the secured Bank of America credit card processing area. Click the Yes button to continue.

If the transaction is approved, the following screen will appear. Wait a few seconds, then click the Close button.  

If the credit card transaction is not approved for any reason, your credit card will not be charged and the e-Course® product will continue to operate as a sample product.

After you click the Close button on the approval page, the following dialog box will appear to let you know that the the software has been unlocked for full use on your computer. 

  1. Click the OK button to continue. 

After you purchase access to the entire product, you will be able to use all of the tutorials in the product as shown below.
